Nsu Historical Committee

The Millennium Session

The Nsu Historical Committee had their maiden session at the St Pauls School, Ezeoke in 1963 to write the first edition of Nsu Past and Present.

In 1965 they published and presented the book to the people of Nsu. The book has since stood as the first reference point on Nsu history

In July 2024 a call was made for the people of Nsu to celebrate 60 years of the history book in 2025 by producing a new edition that will include the present and events that have taken place between 1965 and 2025.

In July 2024 the Nsu Historical Committee online convention started with a goal to gather as much information and put together the updated edition. The entire committee was divided into nine history teams according to the nine kitchens of Nsu to put together their present status and events that led to them.

This exercise was made possible by use of the WhatsApp platform of the Nsu Historical Committee. It had over 400 participants from all the towns of Nsu working from all over the world.

The convention took a break at the end of the year 2024 to resume on the 4th of July 2025. The target is to finish the Millennium Edition of Nsu Past and Present to the people of Nsu on the 26th of December 2025 (Nsu Day 2025).
