From Agbaghara Nsu, Ihitte-Nsu, Ehime Mbano

My Journey, Values, Growth, and Aspirations

Throughout my life, each experience has shaped who I am today—as a person deeply committed to learning, collaborating and making a positive impact to the community. My mission is to help /support and promote our culture. This profile presents my unique path, interweaving my background, values, and ambitions in a way that is both professional and deeply personal.

Receiving a chieftaincy title is a significant honor—it’s a cherished tradition, a symbol of community, and a celebration of togetherness that spans generations. In our culture, being honored with a chieftaincy title isn’t just about personal achievement; it’s a heartfelt commitment to guiding, uplifting, and caring for my community, Agbaghara Nsu, Ihitte-Nsu, Ehime Mbano.

Early Life and Foundational Influences

I grew up in Agbaghara Nsu, a close-knit community where family values and hard work were everyday values. My father, the late Army Sergeant, Joseph Emeh and mother, the late Theresa Emeh were both educators that inspired in me a love for learning, a genuine respect for others and hard work. As the oldest son and child of a military official, my family and I traveled frequently and were exposed to many things. Nonetheless, the explorations of my Country, Nigeria instilled a sense of wonder that continues to guide me.

At the early age of 24 years old, I began my journey overseas. Initially I migrated to Antigua and subsequently to the USA, where I met Danean Eme, the love of my life and mother of my beautiful four children, Aloysius Eme, Jr., Anthony Eme, Amira Eme and Andrew Eme.

Academic Background and Achievements

From an early age, I’ve been a strong advocate of education. As a proud father that has put two children through two universities in the USA and a matriculating university and high school student, life was challenging. In addition, I’ve made many sacrifices to aid and support my family in Agbaghara—whether through financial support, medical aid, education, and immigration journeys. These pertinent decisions have left me to alter many decisions to pursue my dreams of becoming a certified accountant. As such, I attended Essex County College in Newark, NJ, USA majoring in Business Management. Subsequently I obtained a job as a manager with an airline service company for eleven years and later joined the New Jersey State Law Enforcement as a Correctional Police Officer for twenty-one years after graduating from the Police Academy. As a Police Officer, I have obtained numerous trainings and courses that have guided me through my career and geared me to become dedicated citizen for community. Honorable Aloysius C. Eme, Sr. Agbaghara Nsu, Ihitte-Nsu, Ehime Mbano

As many may say, I am my father’s son and being a modest citizen runs in my blood. As a law enforcement officer, my commitment to supporting my family is well deserved and I have no regrets for any past decisions made. Many people have always commended me for walking in my father’s footsteps. Growing up in Agbaghara Nsu, my dad was a pillar in our community. He was always there to assist our people in many ways. Similar to my father, I have generously aided and abetted my community in many ways. One of my greatest achievements was being nominated as the Ambassador of Saint Columbus Church. In addition, I assisted my community with food donations during Covid19 in which I organized and collaborated with other Agbaghara brothers and sisters in the USA to make food donations. I have generously contributed to our community church -Saint Columbus Parish Church in an effort to limit the burden of financial demands and renovations of the Church. I have provided financial helped to so many members of my kindred during the course of my life journey. Overall, I have and continue to make numerous donations that directly or indirectly impact my community. I am very proud and thankful of my achievements. For many years, I have been an active member of many cultural associations in the USA that were committed to providing philanthropic services to our community. The following is a list of the associations.

Organization Position

• Nsu Development and Cultural Association National Treasurer/Member

• New Jersey USA branch of Nsu Development President/Member and Cultural Association

• Mbano Association Provost/Member

• People’s Club of Nigeria Princeton Branch USA Member

Conclusion

This profile is a reflection of my journey—one marked by resilience and a strong commitment to my personal growth. I look forward to new challenges and opportunities that align with my values and aspiration to make a meaningful difference. Accepting a chieftaincy title is a momentous occasion, requiring measures of humility, gratitude and resolve. I solemnly accept this mantle of leadership, knowing that it demands dedication, wisdom and selflessness.
